Dr. Crystal Martinez, a North Carolina native, graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She then spent two years practicing mixed animal medicine before rejoining the HVC team in 2018 where she was previously a veterinary assistant for 5 years. Dr. Martinez enjoys interactions with patients on a daily basis with special interests in surgery and ophthalmology. Dr. Martinez is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist specializing in pain management alternatives.
Dr. Martinez is pictured here with her handsome paint gelding, Cisco. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, running, hiking and baking.
